The ACA Reliability in Sealed Electronic Package of Flat Panel Display under Insolated Loads

Reliability of ACA ( Anisotropic Conductive Adhesive) in flat panel display is a very important study field. The insolated load will affect expand of all the materials in ACA of the sealed electronic package, although the effect loads is smaller than that induced by others. And the expansibility will give a force to ACA, which will influent the reliability of ACA. In this present paper, reliability of a kind of ACA of flat panel display is considered, it can be obtained that; during insolated period, temperature grads of ACA seem little difference, and more temperature, less thermal stress. Whats more, the descending rate may be a constant. Also, the thermal transient period is the real challenge to ACAs insolating reliability, though it may be very short time.
