Synthesis and Luminescence Property of Poly (phenylenevinylene) with Alkoxyl Substituents
In this paper Two kinds of PPV derivatives (poly (2-methoxy-5-hexyloxy-l, 4-phenylene vinylene) (PMOHOPV), poly (2-methoxy-5-octyloxy-l, 4-pbenylene vinylene) (PMOCOPV) are prepared by dehydrochlorination process with pmethoxyphenol as raw materials. The influences of synthesis route and reaction conditions are investigated in detail. The modified route is simpleness and reaction condition is mild, the reaction progress in ordinarily solvent and below 100℃, the yield is reached 60%. The molecular structure is characterized with IR. The luminescence property examined through UV-Vis spectroscopy and fluorescent spectroscope.
