Ramp Setup Design Technique in SMPDP by Vt Open Boundary
A simple equivalent circuit model was developed to deduce wall voltage, cell voltage during ramp discharge in two-electrode SMPDP. A concept of Vt Open Boundary was suggested to help ramp setup waveform design in two-electrode SMPDP for the first time. The cell voltage, wall voltage of two-electrode SMPDP during the ramp setup can be graphically portrayed on Vt open boundary plane. An appropriate ramp setup waveform of SMPDP was optimized using the new Vt open boundary technique.
