Study on Digital Video Interface (DVI) Receiver in Plasma Display Systems
This paper introduce the detailed development methods of Digital Video Interface (DVI) Receiver in Plasma Display (PDP) Systems. These include the arranging of the architecture of Digital Video Interface (DVI) receiver, the design of a 12 phase 3x over sampler, a 12 Phase Locked Loop (PLL), and Digital Phase Locked Loop (DPLL) data recovery circuit. On designing the 12 Phase Locked Loop (PLL), how to select Phase Frequency Detector (PFD), Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) , and Loop Filter (LF) are discussed. On designing Digital Phase Locked Loop (DPLL) data recovery circuit, Phase/freq detector, charge pump circuit, Loop Filter (LF), and etc are introduced. These can offer a kind of reference method for developing of Digital Video Interface (DVI) Receiver in Plasma Display (PDP) Systems.
