Performance Evaluation and Testing of Barrier Ribs for PDP
Barrier ribs in the plasma display panel ( PDP) function to maintain the between to glass plates as well as to prevent optical crosstalk. With the development of high resolution PDP , The fabrication of finer barrier ribs becomes a key of unique processes for making PDP. In this paper , study on the porosity ration and element distribution of section for the barrier rib. Meanwhile it was discussed that hardness and toughness of barrier ribs could be used by SEM , Micro Hardness Tester , and EPMA ( Electron Probe Micro Analyzer ) . In this work the formulation of performance and theirs effect the processes of firing barrier ribs of PDP were investigated.
