BaAl2S4: Eu Phosphor for Blue Emitting TFEL Display

摘要：

Blue emitting thin-film electroluminescent (TFEL) devices with Eu2 +-doped barium thioaluminate (BaAl2S4: Eu) phosphor films have been prepared by RF sputtering deposition with single target. The BaAl2 S4: Eu films coated on A12O3 substrate annealed at 730℃ show a bright blue photoluminescence (PL) with peak at 472 nm. The electroluminescence (EL) of the TFEL device fabricated with the phosphor is 63 cd/m2 at 200 Hz, with emission peak wavelength of 472 nm and colour coordinates of x =0.125, y =0.120.
