Block Control System for RGB LED Backlight
A block control system has been designed for RGB LED backlight, which will be used in large size LCD TV. Different duty ratio of PWM waves are used to coatrol each LED of the backlight separately, so that the brightness and color of each block can be controlled. This solution can improve the contrast ratio of the images, lower the power of the backlight, and reduce the heat produced by LEDs.
