Field Emission Properties of CNTs Grown on Graphite Immersed in Different Concentrations of Fe( NO)3 Solutions by Chemical Vapor Deposition
Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) films were deposited on flat graphite substrates by low pressure chemical deposition ( LPCVD) at 700℃. The graphite was immersed in different concentrations ranging from 0.1 M to 1 M of Fe( NO3) 3 solution respectively. The morphologies and structures of the CNTs films were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Raman spectroscopy. Field emission properties of the CNTs were analyzed by standard current-voltage (I-V) measurement. The optimized field emission behavior is found from the CNTs grown on the graphite substrate immersed in 0. 6 M Fe( NO3 ) 3 solution.
