Magnification of 3D Reconstructed Images in Large-depth Integral Imaging with Horizontal Parallax Only
In this paper, an integral imaging (Ⅱ) system with horizontal parallax only (HPO) that can magnify 3D reconstructed images is proposed. Since Ⅱ with HPO provides us with the one-dimensional elemental image array (EIA), the magnification of 3D images is performed by combinational use of intermediate view reconstruction technique scheme between horizontal EIA and vertical image-interpolation technique. To show the feasibility of the proposed Ⅱ system, some optical experiments on magnification of 3D reconstructed images have been carried out and the results are presented.
