Maximum Spectral Luminous Efficacy under Mesopic Conditions and Application
The contribution of rods and cones to brightness is studied under mesopic conditions with reaction time method, and a set of maximum spectral luminous efficacy is acquired by taking scotopic to photopic luminous flux ratios(S/P) of light sources and background luminance as parameters. At last, for the purpose of the road lighting application, the lighting efficacies of metal halide and high pressure sodium under mesopic conditions are calculated base on maximum spectral luminous efficacy and the spectral power distribution of lighting sourcese.
