Discomfort glare and annoyance caused by white Led lamp
The influence of the arrangement of white LEDs on the lighting effect has not yet been determined. The aim of this study is to investigate these influences by performing an experiment using a white LED lamp. The results of the experiment showed that the annoyance was caused by the impression of the whole white LED lamp. Furthermore, it was found that although the degree of annoyance depended on the area of lamp in the case of uniform luminance, in the case of white LED lamps it was possible to increase the luminous flux by increasing the area without increasing the degree of annoyance.
