Influence of color vision difference on readability and equivalent luminance contrast of chromatic documents

In this paper, the readability of chromatic documents rated by different color vision is investigated by the subjective experiment. As a result, the documents whose colors of letters and backgrounds are on the same confusion line are able to read by subjects with normal color vision and deuteranopia. For the document of chromatic letters on the achromatic background there is no great difference with readabilities rated by observer of different color visions. There is no great difference with equivalent luminance contrast too. It is considered that the influence of color vision on visibility is small when background is white.
