Adaptation luminance of the complex luminance distribution: directionality and additivity of the adaptation luminance increase

摘要：

Visibility is determined by the effective luminance difference and visual sensrtivity.The effective luminance differences of various target size and figuration are derived by effective luminance concept11. The sensitivity under the visual fields with complex luminance distribution is not clarified enough. The relationship of luminance distribution and visual sensitivity will be able to contribute a designing of the visual environment.Adaptation luminance which represents the visual sensitivity under the visual fields with complex luminance distribution, is considered as the summation of adaptation luminance increases which caused by luminance of divided parts of visual field.In this paper it is examined whether adaptation luminance increases by every divided parts of visual field has additivity and directionality.
