Detector based approach in high brightness led measurements

Being one of the focal points of light and engineering research of the 21st century, LED measurements is a very relevant subject today. LED performance measurements and lack of unified standards continue to represent a challenge for the LED industry. Having an in-house LED and Chip Research & Diagnostic Laboratory, company is able to ensure the compliance of the developed products with the international standards in the field of photometry and radiometry and conducts an independent research of its own focusing on the major industry LED measurement challenges, selective results of which are shared in this presentation based on the findings of the research conducted by ACOL Technologies LED and Chip Research & Diagnostic Laboratory and tackles a number of questions related to the methods of measurements, instruments and their calibration, results of measurements of LED applications on the basis of absolute detector-based photometry and radiometry and relative spectrum measurements.
