Compliance and Testing of HID-Lamps for Minimum Luminous Flux Levels
The lamps manufactures in Brazil have a demand to determining minimum luminous flux performance of high intensity discharge lamps - HID using integrating sphere photometers. A method is presented here to measured HID lamps of different lamp types, such as sodium, metal vapor and mercury lamps, each exhibiting a different emission spectrum using two different methodologies: with an integrating sphere and a goniophotometer. Thus, we are going to compare the found results and determine the best methodology to be used by the industry.
