Border between contrast glare and saturation glare
The purpose of this study is to identify the turning point where contrast glare shifts to saturation glare. Two series of experiment are presented. In the first experiment pre-adaptation level is constant, and in the second the pre-adaptation level equals to the background luminance. The results show that the contrast effect is not shown when the pre-adaptation luminance is rather high and that the saturation glare cannot be mitigated with the time elapsed.
