Driver Performance Measure for Traffic Signs
In an effort to better understand how drivers acquire information from traffic signs and act on that information while driving at night, the Texas Transportation Institute is conducting innovative research combing human factors expertise with vision science expertise in conjunction with state of the art research equipment. The research is currently active, about half-way through a three year effort. This paper describes the research activities, preliminary testing results, and upcoming research efforts.
