A scientifically based analysis of the effects of town lighting on sky glow

摘要：

The paper proposes a change of focal point for minimising energy consumption in road lighting and improving star visibility: from luminaire to site. This model is based on measurements and cause-effect relations for evaluating the weight on sky glow of urban and rural light sources.
