Increment of the tourism value in urban lighting development
The night-time tourism has become one important part in cities program over the world. As two branches specialty expanding greatly, urban lighting and tourism get crossed and supplement to each other more and more. There comes an increment of the urban tourism value when the urban lighting gets effective guidance on its development. The analysis in this article provides the effect which urban lighting influences tourism on aesthetic value, societal value, economical value and environmental value. And several patterns are summarized from successful lighting cases in worldwide tourism cities, which raise a rational theoretical study to adapt the upcoming planning compilations and construction of urban lighting in many cities of China today.
