A proposal for prevalence of cie definition of uv-a, uv-b, and uv-c
Since the terms UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C were authorized as CIE standardized definitions, these terms have been popular and have become to be widely used in various science and industrial fields in the world. However, these terms are sometimes used with considerable inconsistencies in the location of the wavelength boundaries depending on the fields. The international examples using the terms UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C are compiled. Proposals for the spread of CIE definition to all the fields are presented.
