One-Dimensional Unsaturated Flow Modeling in Luan Representative Zone of the North China Plain
Accurate estimation of groundwater recharge is essential for the reasonable management of aquifers. Unsaturated zone is the path of infiltration recharge, and gronndwater recharge can be de terminated by unsaturated water simulation. Hydrus-1D software is used to determine the gronndwater recharge in Lnancheng, Hebei Province. The mathematic and conceptual models are established. The initial conditions of the model are derived from field data. After identified the model parameters, the recharge to the bottom boundary is determined through Hydros-1D simulation. Through Hydrus-1D, two supply items at the above boundary of model: irrigation and rainfall, irrigation supply is 1 050 mm, rainfall supply is 1 404.1 mm. Drainage can be classified by two items: evaporation and groundwater recharge. Evaporation is 1 855.6 mm, groundwater recharge is 506.1 mm. The soil storage is 92.4 mm. The annual vertical groundwater recharge of Luancheng of percipitation and irrigation to 190.1 mm/a, which accounts for 20.6% of the total of precipitation and irrigation.
