Comparison on Gas Pool Forming Processes between Puguang and Maoba Gas Reservoirs, Northeast Sichuan Basin, China
This paper compares the gas pool forming processes between Pugang and Maoba gas reservoirs. The results indicate that the gas pool forming processes of Puguang Feixianguan oolitic beach and Cbangxing reef gas reservoirs and Maoba Changxing reef gas reservoir are very similar. But the Maoba Feixiangguan fracture reservoirs gas pool-forming process has some differences. They can be summarized as differences on time, space and composition. The complex structural evolution of multicycle superimposed reformation basin is the ultimate reason that caused the oil or gas accumulation differences; Special reservoir beds which are controlled by special sedimentary fades belts in maine carbonate sequences are also very important to gas pool forming processes in marine carbonate sequences in China.
Northeast Sichuan basin Puguang gas reservoir Maoba gas reservoir gas pool forming process.
