Identification Techniques of Carbonate Reservoir by Well Logs in Daniudi Gas Field, Ordos, China
The Palaeozoic formation of Daniudi gas field is carbonate sedimentary fades. The reservoir is characterized by weathered crust. The low porosity, low permeability, inhomogeneity and anisotropy make the identification and evaluation of reservoir by logs very difficulty. Thus it is necessary to extract the sensitive parameters from log information that could reflect the formation characteristics of carbonate. Based on the reconstructive methods and technology of logs, this study reconstructs 8 discriminating parameters of pore, cavity and fracture, and determines the evaluation criterion of carbonate reservoir in Daniudi gas field.
