Numerical Simulation of Production Blasting in Sublevel Caving

Wave propagation in production blasting in sublevel caving is numerically studied using LS-DYNA. Good agreement between the simulated results and the observed phenomena in LKABs Malmberget mine indicates that numerical simulation can be a powerful tool in design of production blasting in sublevel caving.
