The Application of VCR Method in Surface Chamber Blasting at a Limestone Mine
This is an attempt to apply the underground mining method. VCR method, which was developed from the Livingstons blasting crater equation of rock elastic deformation in the open pit mining, and excellent results have been achieved. During the experimental process, some theoretical analysis and field test work have been done to the inversed crater for its crushed zone, its collapsing area on top. formation of the muck-pile and the slope of the muck pile as well as the location of the blasting chambers.
