Research and Application of Crushing Pit Exavation by Controlled Long Hole Blasting
In the construction of Phase Three ore crushing system at Dagushan Iron Mine, vertical long-hole blasting technology was used in excavating rock pit base used for crushing ore. By this way the excavation period was shortened. In the design and construction, the technique of short-delay presplitting blasting between-holes and in-hole was successfully applied and good technical and economical results have been achieved that provided a certain valuable references to similar domestic engineering blasting.
