Controlled Blasting Demolition of a High Building with Super-thin Wall Structure by Multi-directional Collapsing
Siping Building is the high buildings With a special structure, such as beam-less, column-less and whole shear walls only 15 cm in Thickness. The blasting demolition of such structures, first of all, should solve the hard problem of thin slab blasting by hole-drilling technically. At the same time, protections are made to neighboring traffic main streets and to surrounding inhabitant buildings and pipelines to assure the safety . Especially it is a building with irregular structure and limited collapsing fields; the adoption of controlled blasting technology of directional collapsing in four directions is the initiative in our country. The article stated in details the demolition technology of high buildings with whole super-thin shear wall under complicated environments so as to provide successful experiences for the safe controlled blasting demolition of such buildings in the future.
