Formula Optimization of Site Mixing Emulsion Explosive Products
Since introduction of the IRICO site Mixing Emulsion Explosive technique in 1996, the emulskm explosive formula of the Nanfen open-pit mine has been kept in use and misfire has occasionally occurred. Through comprehensive analyses of the problem, research on optimization of the emulsion explosive formula was conducted. Result showed that the detonation characteristics of the explosive products were fairly improved and no misfire has been found in field tests.
