Detonation Synthesis of Nanometer Titanium Dioxide in Gas-Phase

Firstly, this paper introduces the exiting technique and methods of the synthesized nanometer titanium dioxide. Secondly, the experimentation research of ultrafine titamium formed by detonation of gas phase which used the presence of tetrachloride and the fuel (O2 and H2) to bring detonation. Properties of TiO2 ultrafine panicles were charactered by XRD and TEM. The results showed that the powers which are globose and cube are between 20 to 50nm, and the powers are nano-TiO2 which are ruitile and anatase phase, and the average particle size of this two phase were 20.2 and 30.0nm.
