Precision Control of Explosive Forming for Metallic Decorating Sphere
The demand for thin wall decorating spheres using different metallic materials with different sizes is increasing along with the need for the city construction and decoration. Forming of this type of thin wall spheres is always difficult in metal sheet forming. This paper introduces an advanced non-die explosive forming technology. Through the data analysis and experimental research, the optimized control method for the precision of sphere forming has been obtained. Therefore, it opens up an effective way for this type of sphere forming.
