Experimental Study on Linear Cumulative Explosion for Cutting Large Diameter Bolts
The cumulative explosion was widely applied in engineering Masting area, hut it was rarely for simultaneity cutting large diameter bolts. By analyzing the package-shape, explosive characters, liner and stand-off of shaped charge, and a series of optimization and comparison experiments were carried out, and linear cumulative charging cutter was manufactured in this paper. On the basis of a number of explosive cutting experiments, a bracket for fixing bi-directional cumulative charging package and high precision of microsecond detonators was worked out. The method of using bi-directional linear cumulative charging explosion for cutting large diameter bolts was put forward. The experiments show that the explosive cutting ratio for single bolt and double bolts can attain 100%. The results would provide technical support for applying steel bulkhead in water emptying tunnel of reservoirs.
