Research on the Characteristics of Linear Shaped Charge Jet by Numerical Simulation
The study actuality of linear shaped charge blasting is briefly expatiated, and the explicit arithmetic of LS-DYNA which is a software of explicit dynamical analysis attached in finite element method-ANSYS. This paper takes advantage of ANSYS/LS-DYNA code to describe the process of a two-dimensional numerical simulation of linear shaped charge jet formation, and the results are discussed. Especially, the process of linear shaped charge jet whose the wall thickness varied is simulated in two-dimension, and the whole simulating process of jet forming in uneven thickness cover with thin top and thick bottom is analyzed. By making use of the varying rate of cover wall thickness, the jet phenomena and rules on this kind of linear shaped charge is studied, and this provides theoretical base for optimizing design of linear shaped charge cutter.
