Discussion on the Seismic Wave Equation of MS Delay Blasting
Ms delay blasting technology has been applied widely as it can decrease ground vibration and improve fragmentation. There are still different views about the methods for calculation of the intensity of seismic waves. Through induction of the time-domain properties of the seismic waves from ms delay blasting, discussions on the several formulas and views used in the present and analyses on data of ground vibrations are carried out. The result shows that in some cases estimation on ground vibrations by charge amount in a delay period might cause serous problems. Some proposals on ms delay blasting vibration safety design and ground vibration evaluation mode are here put forward.
