Recognization of Blasting Vibration Signals and Optimized Designation of Blasting Parameters for the Delay Blast

Mffisecond blast technology, which can control Wasting vibration strength and also can improve Hasting effect, has been widely applied to engineering blast field. In this paper, character of multi-segment millisecond blasting vibration signals, which is collected under the condition of micr-airslake granite field, were studied by monitoring and distilling signals of blasting vibration. The study shows that when vibration waves among each segment in multi-segment delay blasting vibration are at colse distance, waves present separating character. While at middle and remote distance, it starts to superpose that blasting vibration sub-waves inspirited by each segment delay denoted charge.Analysis of experimental data shows that at this experimental field, the segment delay of multi-segment milliseccnd blast can be designed by choosing segment delay between millisecond 2 segment and millisecond 3 segment detonator. That is, the delay between segments can be chosen between 25 millisecond and 50 millisecond. Multi-segment blast vibration signals in experiment were decomposed in four scales using multi-distinguish analyzing technology. By comparing and analyzing details in each scale, it shows that multi-segment character are clearly expressed when scale j = 2 or 3, especially when scale j = 2. the research results have important references when to decide the rational millisecond delay at given rock medium conditions and thus to control blasting vibration and improve blasting result.
