LiFePO4-based Lithium Ion Batteries
Because iron phosphate powder has many outstanding characteristics for its application in secondary lithium batteries, we fabricated LiFePO4-based battery using our specific battery design technology and process in this study. Then we investigated LiFePO4-based lithium ion cells to assess high-rate discharge performance, high-rate cycle capability, and low-temperature discharge characteristic and so on. Our results have shown they are high-performance battery, and the phosphate powder has very good suitability for the cathode material in high-power lithium ion cells (power cell).
