Lithium ion battery design and manufacture in power-tools
The Lithium ion battery used in power-tools was designed and manufactured according to the special requirement of power-tools. The battery in this article was designed to satisfy high output power requirement by using the LiMn2O4 mixing other cathode material, using MCMB as anode material, welding multi-tab. The bulk density energy reaches 230Wh/L. The battery obtained the capacity of high power output (discharge at 20C rate, peak power could reach HOW), the battery obtained excellent cycling performance (cycle 200 times, discharge at 10C rate, the capacity remain 80％), the safety performance and high and low temperature performance is also excellent.
