Towards Achieving Complex Medical Engineering to Understand Conversational Dynamics
In this study,we introduce our research activities, we have been developing conversational informatics based on the foundations of artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, and cognitive science. We consider the implications we can apply to the approach of conversational informatics to complex medical engineering. In a medical situation, people have each roles, doctors, nurses, and patients, exchange many kinds of information and knowledge in everyday conversations.Their roles like doctors, nurses and patient do not change in hospital, that is static role.On the other hand, they have other roles in conversational activities like speaker or listener which people could exchange them dynamically in conversations. We proposed a model of conversational interactions called Participation Structure. and explain some example of it.We discuss how we apply this model to complex medical engineering.
