The Effect of Electromagnetic Field of High -Voltage Transmission on Blood of Rats

The effect of electromagnetic radiation of high-voltage transmission lines on blood of rat is studied, in which the rats used are exposed in the electromagnetic field of high-voltage transmission line about one year. The erythrocyte, leucocyte and hemalbumin of rats are observed by microscope. At the same time, biochemical indexes of serum and blood, such as ALT, AST, TP, ALB, TB, DB, IB, CLO, A/C and BUN, is measured. It is found that the increase of ALT (P<0.05) and leucocyte (P<0.01) and other indexes are also changed in certain degree. Meanwhile, the infrared spectra of blood and serum are measured by FTIR instrument and the difference between experiment and control group is analyzed. According to these, it is concluded that the electromagnetic radiation of high-voltage transmission lines effect the component of blood of rats exposure to the electromagnetic field.
