The Biological Effects of The Carbon Nanotubes and NanoTiO2 as well as Their Toxicities
The influences of carbon nanotubes and nano TiO2 of 100nm and of 1000nm on proliferations of chick embryo fibroblast cells and persons liver cell(L-20) as well as their toxicities have been investigated by using 3-(4,5?dime-thylthiazol 2-yl)-2,5 diphenyltetrazolium bromde (MTT) colorimetric method and the toxicology theory, respectively. We find that these carbon nanotubes and nanoTiO2 can indeed influence the proliferations of chick embryo fibroblast cells and persons liver cell, but their toxicity to the cells is small and belong about to first score (or degree).
