Time-Resolved Fluorescence Detection on Microfluidic Chip for HIV-1 Virus Assay
A novel strategy is proposed to greatly reduce the volume and cost of a time-resolved fluorescence detection system. Laser diode is employed as a replacement for ultra-fast DPSS lasers that are expensive and bulky, thus facilitating implementation in microfluidic chip platforms. Besides, corresponding noise-reduction strategy is provided. This method paves way for ultra-sensitive detection of HIV-1 and beyond.
