Core Knowledge, Related Diversification and Sustainable Growth of a Firm

摘要：

Theoretically speaking, related diversification based on core competence can make the sustainable growth of the firm realizable. However, the opposite result usually happens. Is it the defect of theory or the deviation of practice? To resolve this problem need to reconsider the essential connotation of the theory of related diversification based on core competence, and sequentially find practical and effective approaches to the sustainable growth of the firm. Herein, this paper will focus on this research topic from the perspective of the essence of core competence.
