Energy Guarantee for Sustainable Development of Eastern Region in China

摘要：

Eastern Region is the economic center of China, but the energy resources are relatively scarce, so energy supply of the region will be worse in the future. Firstly, this paper points out that because Chinese economic difference augments from the east to the west, while energy resources are mainly endowed in the Middle and Western Region, which restricts the Eastern Region from sustainable development. Then, the energy production and consumption are compared and analyzed among three zones and each province of the Eastern Region respectively. The economy-energyenvironment partitions are plotted out according to 8 indicators and the energy demand of the Eastern Region is forecasted. Finally, some relative measures are put forward including multi-supply, diverse consumption and high-level structure to enforce energy guarantee.
