Molecular Modelling of Jasmonates and Related Derivatives
Jasmonates acts as an important cellular regulator mediating diverse developmental processes and defense responses and play an important role in signaling events associated with various stress in plants. Molecular modelling and simulation techniques are playing an important role in modern characterization of organic compounds, polymers and other materials, Cerius2 software provides extensive property estimation and computation functions. The total energy of twenty four compounds of jasmonates and related derivatives were calculated by using Cerius2 molecular modelling software in this paper.
