The Application of Layer-crack-plate Model in Mining extremely Thick Coal Seam with Pressure Burst Tendency
After the study of geology situation and extraction data and pressure burst in extremely thick coal seam of Qianqiu Coal Mine, the main characters and influence factors are summed up. Considering of the main characters and influence factors of pressure burst layer-crack-plate model is used to forecast stability of 21121 working face and gateway. It can be seen that the calculation results of the model are reasonable, also the results are consistent with the sub-level coals displacement in-sit measurement results and the gateway stress and cracked zone in-sit measurement results. So its can be realized that layer-crack-plate model is suitable to forecast stability of working face and the gateway. With the accuracy and simplicity layer-crack-plate will play an important role in the prevention of pressure burst in extraction of extremely thick coal seam.
