Security Numerical Simulation Analysis of the Dam after Coal Minied under the Reservoir

The study on exploitation of coal resources under surface water is a comprehensive research task extending across coal mining, water conservancy, geological and environment protection. Recent years, along with constructions of some large-scale water conservancy projection in China, this kinds of studies on the exploitation of coal resources under surface water has great theoretical and practical significance. Combined with engineering example of excavating coal under Shimen reservoir in An yang Colliery ,Henan Province, safe and non of sub-level caving mining under waterbody and the lithologic type of the overburden stata above the coal seam are analyzed in this paper; the failure height of overburden stata under reservoir after mining is forecasted; thickness of safety pillars which essential to stay for safe mining also are calculated. So mine testing under the reservoir was carried on, After whiletlu project had heen approved bythe Mining Bureau of Henan Province and according to the analyze and the forecast result. According to the observation and study during the period of mine jug test , Shimen Reservoir did not appear the phenomenon of water leakage; and the hydraulic discharge in the mine did not increase either. There fore, safe mining with sub-level caving method under the reservoir was realized.
