Fractal Characteristics and Forecasting of Ground Subsidence

摘要：

With the development of the mining or the continuing appearances of the high buildings, the problem of the ground subsidence caused by the underground engineering is more and more serious. In this paper, the fractal characteristics of ground subsidence in coal mines are researched, and the application of the method of fractal interpolation to forecast the mining subsidence is also presented. The research results show that the fractal interpolation method is useful in forecasting the ground subsidence of coal mine and solving other complex and irregular problems in mining and geological fields.
