Study on Safety Water-Preserved Mining in Shallow Coal Seam by Numerical Simulation
One of the vital problems in the Shendong mining area in Shaanxi province of China is the roof damage control, soil erosion and surface damage under the condition of the thick loose beds. This problem is because that the key stratum structure can be ruptured and slid due to mining. Therefore, researching the destructive mechanisms of the key stratum structure and the stability conditions of the structure in the shallow seam is the key to solve the roof damage control, the soil erosion, the mining damage and safety mining. Taking 1203 longwall face in Daliuta mine of Shendong mining area for example, in the paper the numerical model is set up by numerical simulation software which adapts to analyzing the rupture and collapse of the rock strata and makes dynamic numerical compute. The results of simulation show that the failure rules of the key stratum structure, shows up the safe mining height which control the sliding of the key stratum structure is 2 meter, and supplies the foundation for the safe production, the water-preserved mining and environmental protection in Shendong mining area.
