T-H-M Coupling Dynamic Response of a Concentrated Load on the Surface of a Partially Saturated Porous Medium
Based on Biots coupling thermo-elastodynamics theory, the governing equation of thermo-elastodynamics response of a porous medium is developed and the dynamic response induced by a harmonic concentrated load over the surface of half-space foundation is investigated. The analysis are exact within the bounds of the partially saturated porous medium theory by introducing the conception of equivalent liquid presented by Chang according to the Biots theory of porous medium. Accordingly, the analytic solution in transformed domain is obtained by the method of Hankel transformation, and numerical results are presented by inversing Hankel transformation. The distribution of displacements, stresses and pore water pressure are investigated and some features of the problem are revealed.
