Research on Charging Constitution of Different Coupling Medium of Charge with Slots and Discuss of Splitting Mechanics of Rocks
A new water coupling charge with slots adapts to water-bearing blast hole blasting was proposed in this paper based on the study of other charges with slots. Some comparison tests are did between this new charging constitution and three other charges with slots. Through single hole simulation tests, strain parameters under tests of different styles of charges with slots were tested and analyzed. Jet theory was used to calculate the parameters of blasting jet formed by air coupling charge with slots and water coupling charge with slots borrowing ideas from the theory and experiments of jet research. The theoretical analyzing results accord with the testing results approximately. So, it is appropriate to analysis the split of rock affected by the charge with slots blasting by jet theory.
