Effect of Temperature on Ultrasonic Wave velocity in Coal Roof Sandstone
In this paper, the regulation of ultrasonic wave spreading in sandstone at common temperature and after being baked at high temperature was researched in laboratory. The sandstone took form upper plank of coal bed in Jiaozuo.And effect of temperature on both the developing process of damage crack and the regulation of the sandstone quality decrease also were studied. The results show that velocity of ultrasonic wave will vary with the temperature changes, and it will decrease when the temperature increases over 200℃.The loss of sandstone quality will augment as the temperature arise, too.
